Challenge

ISC8, a former private R&D firm used by the U.S. government for national security, decided to take their visionary technology and expertise to the street. This called for a re-brand of their identity, website and print collateral to establish themselves as a trusted, proven resource and deliver their advanced cyber-security products to market.

Solution

The identity needed to express ISC8's personality: cutting edge, proactive, responsive, safe. We created a high-tech typeface with a cool palette: dark gray for legibility and yellow-green for an edgy pop of color. We chose the tag "secure" as the core of ISC8's message and placed it in visually secure brackets, providing a design element to use with other marketing components.

The website was developed around 4 main points with corresponding images in a rotating photo banner. We kept the homepage clean for ease of navigation and stored a wealth of content from industry overview to in-depth technology information in simple pull-downs.

Result

The rebrand was well received by the ISC8 Board of Directors, investors, industry analysts, staff, and customers. Feedback was positive on messaging and its incorporation into the design elements. The bold, fresh design, color palette, and identity set the company apart from its competition, and successfully introduced their products and expertise to market.
